A Tale of Two Horses0

I now have the latest beta of Internet Explorer installed, and it really is quite good. I won’t be de-installing it, as the performance issues in the previous beta seem to be resolved. I have, however, had to install Firefox in parallel, for a number of reasons: not least that certain Web sites (Blogger?) still don’t work properly, but also that some sites don’t list IE7 as a supported browser.

Its interesting - following the browser wars of the past, if I squinted a bit I could have the impression that Microsoft is going out of its way to open a hole for Firefox. I know, that would be impossible… but in this world of Betas, perhaps having a stable alternative is the key to the future.

ALternatively, perhaps Microsoft could just fix the bugs before release, beta or otherwise.
